Sidekick

Your courses, your context, your next step. Sidekick brings notes, dates and a source-backed study companion into one private academic workspace.

Sidekick offers a free beta capped at the first 20 verified UGA student accounts, alongside the existing operators. The workspace is hosted separately behind sign-in.

The current preview supports manual course setup, pasted or imported text, and calendar-file imports. Optional read-only Google Calendar, a daily dashboard and opt-in UGA eLC calendar/announcement feed collection are available for private testing. An optional tutor teaches from selected course text and saves practice sessions, with a shared ceiling of 12 generation attempts per UTC day (up to 10 per workspace), not a guaranteed allocation for each student. Saved lessons remain available after the allowance is used. Feed coverage is limited; full eLC portal collection is not available. Connected lessons in Claude, ChatGPT, Grok and Gemini can save course-scoped checkpoints and resume them in a fresh chat. Provider eligibility and limits apply; Claude Free was tested, while Gemini’s free-account test remains pending.

No paid AI or recording subscription is required to use the existing website. Sidekick is an independent project, not an official university service.
